Puerto Lopez
Continuing north, Puerto Lopez is a larger fishing town. It is also a popular whale watching spot for tourists. We stayed at an interesting hostal that reminded us of Kona Village on the Big Island. The paths to the cabinas meandered through the extensive colorful gardens. The woodwork was very unusual, laminated wood that was carved revealing the grain of the many layers.
